EX-PARTE FILING: LPTVBA MEETINGS AT FCC

TUESDAY, JUNE 16, 2026

For LPTV Broadcasters Association: Frank Copsidas, Chairman/Founder and Shana Farr, Membership Director

For FCC: Alex Sanjenis, Hillary diNigro, David Brown, Kevin Harding, Mark Colombo, Maria Mullarkey, Lyle Elder, Evan Baranoff, Markus Maher

In two separate meetings, the points were the same:

1. LPTV Broadcasters Association supports all transmission standards, ATSC 1.0, ATSC 3.0, 5G Broadcast, and anything new in the future.

2. LPTV Broadcasters Association will offer its members a new benefit: a free ATSC 3.0 certificate courtesy of Silicon Dust so members are not required to use A3SA certificates.

3. LPTV Broadcasters Association firmly believes its members/licensees have the intelligence to decide which broadcast standard is right for their community and best serves the public interest despite disrespectful, industry comments to the contrary.

4. The LPTV Broadcasters Association addressed the letter sent to Chairman Carr sent on May 12th, 2026 requesting 5G Broadcast be licensed by the FCC and in support of HC2’s petition. The point was reenforced that 3GPP is not only a cellular standard organization but a worldwide standard for satellite, broadcast, and other solutions. It defines the new world of convergence.

5. Additional updates were made about the experimental 5G Broadcast station in Boston having solid success with its trials. Also addressed were the current challenges with R19 receivers needed for the ATSC 3.0/5G Broadcast interleaved solution. GPS accuracy solutions using 5G Broadcast will be tested this summer.

6. Note was made of Italy opening a window to apply for grants in Italy for 5G Broadcast solutions and France’s determined rollout of 5G Broadcast.
