Les Levi

Les Levi is President and Chief Executive Officer of HC2 Broadcasting, one of the largest television station groups in the United States, with more than 250 television stations serving communities nationwide. Under his leadership, HC2 has become a major force in the Low Power Television industry, expanding opportunities for local broadcasters and strengthening the role of LPTV stations in delivering content and services to diverse audiences.

Before entering broadcasting, Levi enjoyed a distinguished 30-year career on Wall Street as an investment banker, research analyst, and portfolio manager specializing in the media and telecommunications industries. He held senior positions with leading financial institutions, including Plainfield Asset Management, JPMorgan Chase, Merrill Lynch, and Drexel Burnham Lambert, where he advised and analyzed companies across the communications sector.

Levi brings a unique blend of financial expertise, strategic leadership, and media industry knowledge to broadcasting. In helping build HC2 Broadcasting into one of the nation's largest television station operators, he has played a key role in station acquisitions, spectrum strategy, regulatory affairs, and the development of new opportunities for broadcasters in an evolving media landscape.

In addition to his business leadership, Levi has a distinguished academic background. He earned a Ph.D. in English and Comparative Literature from Columbia University and an MBA in Finance from New York University Stern School of Business. He has also served as an Adjunct Professor of Business at NYU's Stern School and as an Executive-in-Residence at the University of Miami.

As a member of the LPTV Broadcasters Association Board of Directors, Levi contributes extensive experience in finance, telecommunications, station operations, and strategic growth, helping to advance the interests of Low Power Television broadcasters across the country.
